psalm 116:12-16

Maundy Thursday Psalm 116:12-16
This is the appointed psalm for Maundy Thursday.

What shall I render to the Lord
for all his benefits to me?
I will offer the sacrifice of thanksgiving
and will call on the name of the Lord.
I will take the cup of salvation
and will call on the name of the Lord.
I will pay my vows to the Lord now
in the presence of all his people,
in the courts of the Lord's house,
in the midst of you, O Jerusalem.

  1. AMEN...Preach it sister :D I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your commentary on this momentous decision. It is relevant, concise, and oh so important! I recently had a conversation with someone about God's living word in the hear and now and how we speak and, more importantly, live Christ to others. Not all UCC's are O&A, some are as "closed" as they come in any denomination. This ELCA decision seems to "agree to disagree" within the covenantal relationship of the church and to in all things, seek Christ. I'll have to engage my brother (who attended part of the conference in MN!) about this. He didn't share any details of his time there, but this news will make a big discussion for us...way cool!

I hope that you're hanging in there...things are insane in my world. I've added a physical component which hasn't been fun, but I'll share that another time. I just wanted to check in and I'm so glad that I did...I needed a dose of "your reality" :D The baby's calling (he's one already!!!), so I better hit post! Love ya!!! (((HUGS))) --Karla
